2. SMPTE vs THX Field of View Standards

The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) recommends a minimum viewing angle of 30 degrees for mixed entertainment (sports, news, cable TV). THX recommends a 40-degree field of view for immersive cinematic film viewing.
